Mortgage Brokers to Avoid

Updated September 27, 2005

The Upfront Mortgage Brokers movement has gained some traction with borrowers, with the result that some mortgage brokers try to have it both ways. They pretend that they are UMBs, but in fact they refuse to conform to UMB rules. When I find such free-riders, I list them here.

As of the date above, all those who had been listed here at one time or another had removed the references to being upfront mortgage brokers from their web sites.

However, http://www.mortgage-philadelphia.com/index.htm has flagrantly plagiarized materials from my web site. Since this broker is willing to steal from me, my presumption is that he or she would steal from you.
